Philosophy

For more than two decades, this Gilchrist Philosophy has helped produce remarkable results and dozens of highly successful junior, amateur and professional golfers. Since Gilchrist started his namesake academy, the results have been no different. In the 2010-2011 school year alone, students of the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy (juniors and pros) recorded 62 international tournament victories.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma State golfer Morgan Hoffmann, a graduate of the Gilchrist system, still trains at GGGA after turning pro the summer of 2011. And LPGA Tour star Yani Tseng, the world's No. 1-ranked player, also trains like a champion with Gilchrist.

The goal of the training program at GGGA is to develop students in every area: strategically, mentally, technically, physically and as a person (school, family socially, college preparation), so that they can reach their full potential in golf and in life.

The consistent cycle of learning, preparing and performing is the foundation of the program. Students will learn to approach every aspect of their development looking at the goal, hurdle and solution — building confidence through the process and focusing energy on the plan for improvement.

And the compelling combination of world-class golf instruction, fitness training, mental coaching and academic excellence is what distinguishes GGGA from any other golf academy in the world.

"It was never my goal to be the most famous instructor," Gilchrist says. "My dream was to help support young people in realizing their potential and dreams. I love golf; I love to train young people."

Gilchrist truly loves helping young people, "Train like a Champion."
